The Ultimate Guide to Playing Roulette

The player’s objective is to guess what number the ball is going to stop on. The player puts his bets on the roulette’s table and, if he’s lucky, he’ll pick the gainings which depend on the kind of bet and the payment that bet has established. The payment goes from 35 to 1, to 1 to 1, depending on the bet’s difficulty.

Playing the Game

The Roulette is played on a table that sits up to 7 players. There’s a wheel and beside it, the bet area. The players make their bets, the croupier spins the wheel and that’s how you get the winning number. Once the winning number is known, the players wait to see if they have lost or win.

This is a game where the player has nothing to do with the selection of the winning number. Spinning the wheel and throwing the ball is up to the crupie; the player only has to decide where to place the bet. The challenge of the game is to pick the number that’s going to come out.

Betting

There are different possibilities when it comes to betting in the Roulette and, as usual, the harder the bet, the more it pays.

To play Roulette you need chips and, depending on the Roulette (American or European), you’ll need special chips or you’ll play with the casino chips. In the American Roulette, the chips are one color for each player and they’re all worth the same. That makes the croupier’s job easier, since he can easily determine who won and how much he won. To avoid possible temptations from the loser players, you can’t place the hands on the table until the payments have been done and all the chips are removed.

The Roulette Bets are marked by setting the chips in the different spaces that the betting area has, which is divided in 2:

Internal Bets: are the ones that have numbers 37/38 marked in the center of the betting area.

External Bets: are the ones that surround numbers 37/38 and are in the sides of the betting area.

Intern Bets

The numerical area is the central part of the table and it contains numbered squares. The squares have a format of files of 12 numbers each, with the “0” and the “00” on the edge next to the wheel.
